Founded in 2008 by a group of visionary robot enthusiasts, Robosen was born from a bold ambition: to transform childhood dreams into tangible reality. For over 17 years, our dedicated engineers have pioneered the development of AI-powered robots that entertain, inspire, and connect. Guided by a singular mission—to make life more fun—we set out to recreate the beloved heroes from film and television, capturing their iconic form, movement, and spirit through cutting-edge robotics.

Figuring it out as we went along

Without a clear roadmap, we faced many challenges that we overcame one by one. Embracing each obstacle led to exciting breakthroughs through constant refinement and innovation. Our early milestones included a small humanoid robot in 2009 and a 1.6-meter domestic robot in 2013—both demonstrating our commitment to making robotics accessible and enjoyable. In 2019, we made a monumental leap with the Interstellar Agent T9, our first auto-converting robot, showcasing major advances in motors, joints, materials, balance, and control software. This milestone reinforced our dedication to pushing robotics boundaries, setting the stage for our greatest achievements.

1 When Optimus Took His First Step

As we progressed in our advances, it caught the attention of other companies, ultimately leading us to a partnership with Hasbro. After years of dedicated development and overcoming numerous engineering challenges, our hard work culminated in 2021 with the launch of our flagship product: the world’s first auto-transforming Optimus Prime . This marked a significant breakthrough, both technically and culturally. When we unveiled this innovative creation, we were met with the sheer joy of fans experiencing the magic of Optimus Prime transforming right in front of them for the very first time. With the iconic and comforting voice of Peter Cullen resonating through the air, we watched fans delight in the sight of him transforming, performing his signature actions, and delivering his classic lines from the show. It filled our hearts with warmth and validated all our efforts. This moment went beyond mere technical accomplishment; it reinforced our guiding principle: make life more fun.

2 Where Code Meets Character

Our mission is to share the joy and wonder that robotics can bring. We believe great robotics go beyond data and algorithms—they create emotional connections through interactive experiences. Partnering with Hasbro allowed us to combine engineering and storytelling, resulting in a product that resonates with fans old and new. Optimus Prime’s transformation bridged nostalgia and innovation, delighting audiences of all ages and offering a playful yet meaningful introduction to robotics. This milestone reflects our belief that the best technology enriches life, sparks joy, and makes every moment more magical.

3 Expanding the Heroic Lineup

Encouraged by the enthusiastic reception of Optimus, we set our sights on expanding our beloved lineup. In 2023, we introduced the G1 performance Bumblebee , marking a groundbreaking moment. For the first time, our robots could interact with one another, bringing cinematic scenes to life as Bumblebee and Optimus teamed up through the mini-theater feature in Bumblebee's app. Later that year, we launched Grimlock , the world’s first auto-converting, dual-form bipedal robot. Grimlock uniquely operated in both robot and dinosaur modes, continuing our quest for interactivity within his mini-theater mode.

4 A Legendary Rival Emerges

Recognizing that every hero needs a compelling adversary, we unveiled the auto-converting Megatron in 2024, voiced by the legendary Frank Welker. This launch allowed us to orchestrate epic confrontations, reenacting the climactic battle between Optimus and Megatron from the 1986 animated film. Each creation presented its own set of challenges, pushing the boundaries of our creativity and innovation. This journey led us to revisit Bumblebee. In 2025, we released an auto-converting G1 version of our favorite little brother bot, a new addition to the Flagship series that brings even more excitement to the interactive experience with Optimus, Grimlock, and Megatron.

Teaching steel how to smile

Our vision encompasses much more than just Transformers. In 2022, we embarked on a groundbreaking partnership with Disney to unveil the Buzz Lightyear Space Range Alpha , drawing inspiration from the animated film "Lightyear." This thrilling collaboration evolved further in 2024 with the release of a classic Buzz Lightyear , reminiscent of the iconic 1995 Disney-Pixar film "Toy Story."

What sets our Buzz Lightyear apart is the incorporation of advanced microchips powering the servo system and mini servo motors that bring his eyes and mouth to life. This allows him to engage in natural conversations and express a range of real-life emotions through nuanced facial movements. As a result, fans can feel a genuine connection with this beloved character from their childhood, transforming him from a mere toy into an interactive and relatable companion.

Our commitment to innovation ensures that we capture the essence of what makes Buzz Lightyear special while enhancing the experience for both new and longtime fans.
