How to Replace Batteries in Your Robosen's Robot Toys

Flagship Optimus Prime

Just like any other device, your Flagship Optimus Prime's batteries have a limited lifespan. After a period time of use, you'll need to replace the batteries to keep your robot toy up and running.

Signs Your Robot Toy Needs New Batteries

If you notice that your Flagship Optimus Prime can turn on but immediately powers down and falls over when trying to transform or perform certain actions, it's time to replace the batteries.

Preparation for Battery Replacement

Before you begin, familiarize yourself with the two types of screws used to secure the batteries on the robot toy, as shown in the image below.
Throughout the guide, different screw types will be referred to as Screw 1 and Screw 2 based on their location.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Remove the Screw 1

Using a screwdriver, remove the two Screw 1s located within the yellow box in the image below.

Step 2: Remove the Screw 2

Locate the Screw 2 on the rear sides of the vehicle's head. Remember to remove one Screw 2 from each side. The image below shows the removal process for one side only.

Step 3: Replace the Batteries

Gently disconnect the power cable, pull it out, and replace the batteries located on the back.

Step 4: Reinstall the Screw 2

Once the batteries are replaced, reinstall the Screw 2s on the rear sides of the vehicle's head in the same positions as in Step 2.

Step 5: Reinstall the Screw 1

Finally, reinstall the two Screw 1s that were removed in Step 1.
Congratulations! You've successfully replaced your robot toy's batteries!

Elite Optimus Prime

If your Elite Optimus Prime experiences any of the following issues, it's time to consider replacing the batteries:

No Power: The robot fails to turn on when the power button is pressed while connected to the adapter, and the light behind the power button does not illuminate.
silent mode: With the sound volume turned up, all voice commands and actions from the robot are completely silent.

Before you begin, familiarize yourself with the two types of screws used to secure the batteries on the robot toy, as shown in the image below.
Throughout the guide, different screw types will be referred to as Screw 1 and Screw 2 based on their location.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Remove the Screw 2s

Using a screwdriver, remove the two Screw 2s located next to the power button.

Step 2: Remove the Screw 1s

Locate the Screw 1s on the rear sides of the vehicle's head on both the left and right sides. Remove one Screw 1 from each side.

Step 3: Check the Connections

Inspect the three connections shown in the image below to ensure they are properly secured.

Step 4: Replace the Batteries

If the robot still malfunctions after checking the connections, it's time to replace the batteries.

Step 5: Reassemble the Robot

When reassembling the robot, make sure to secure the power cable with your fingers before pushing it into the casing.

Step 6: Reinstall the Screws

Reinstall the Screw 1s removed in Step 2 and the Screw 2s removed in Step 1.
Congratulations! You've successfully replaced your Elite Optimus Prime's batteries.

Flagship Optimus Prime Trailer

If your Flagship Optimus Prime Trailer experiences any of the following issues, it's time to check or replace the batteries:

Trailer Fails to Turn On: The trailer does not power on at all.
Power Loss After Disconnection: The trailer turns on when connected to the adapter but immediately powers off and shuts down once disconnected.

Preparation for Battery Replacement

Before you begin, familiarize yourself with the two types of screws used to secure the batteries on the robot toy trailer, as shown in the image below.
Throughout the guide, different screw types will be referred to as Screw 1 and Screw 2 based on their location.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Lift the Trailer

Lift the Trailer body as shown in the image below.

Step 2: Remove the Screws

Remove the Screw 1 and Screw 2 located within the red selection box, as shown in the image below.

Step 3: Remove the Battery Cover Plates

Remove the cover plates (yellow and blue boxes) located on both sides of the batteries.

Step 4: Disconnect and Replace the Batteries

Gently disconnect the power cable located in the blue box, pull it out, and replace the batteries.

Step 5: Reinstall the Battery Cover Plates

Once the batteries are replaced, reinstall the cover plates removed in Step 3.

Step 6: Reinstall the Screws

Using a screwdriver, reinstall the Screw 1 and Screw 2 removed in Step 2.
Congratulations! You've successfully checked or replaced your Flagship Optimus Prime Trailer's batteries.

K1 or K1 Pro

If your K1 robot experiences any of the following issues, it's time to consider replacing the batteries:

No Power: The robot fails to turn on at all.
Adapter Issues: The adapter's green light is on when connected to the robot, but the robot only powers on when connected to the adapter. After turning on, the adapter's light turns red, and the robot immediately powers off when disconnected from the adapter.

Before you begin, familiarize yourself with the three types of screws used to secure the batteries on the robot, as shown in the image below.
Throughout the guide, different screw types will be referred to as Screw 1, Screw 2, and Screw 3 based on their location.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Remove the Screws

Using a screwdriver, remove the screws within the highlighted box, as shown in the image below.

Step 2: Remove the Screws on the Other Side

Locate and remove the screws on the other side of the robot's body.

Step 3: Disconnect the Power Cable

Gently disconnect the power cable from the robot.

Step 4: Remove the Batteries

Hold onto the power cable and pull it out along with the batteries.

Step 5: Replace the Batteries

Insert the new batteries into the robot while keeping the power cable on the upper right side.

Step 6: Ensure Proper Cable Angle

After inserting the batteries, ensure the angle between the two wires does not exceed 15 degrees, as shown in the image below.

Step 7: Route the Power Cable

Thread the power cable through the two round holes on the right side.

Step 8: Connect the Power Cable

Connect the power cable securely and lay it flat under the motherboard.

Step 9: Reinstall the Screws

Using a screwdriver, reinstall all the screws removed in Steps 1 and 2. Make sure to match the screw type and location correctly.
Congratulations! You've successfully replaced your K1's batteries.
